Sorry if these seems negative, but I writes em' as I gets em'...( I am fine, these just come to me, what can I say?)

Epitaph…

Odd as opposed to even,

Though I may most certainly be,

I write for the entire world to humorously see,

How we all can be while hanging from a tree most funny…

The noose is tightening,

The result could be most frightening,

Fortunately though for the lightening,

I find this experience, both of hanging and writing, most enlightening…

Even as opposed to odd,

Becoming carrion for the vultures does my bod,

I am in high hopes my epitaph on the tree does future cultures teach,

“Remain happy, smile regularly, making others laugh, as your life can end

quite abruptly with a nod from god…”

I'm with Kate, Eddie M... "insightful" as opposed to "unsightly" (grin) makes for a grateful reader. (speaking only for myself, of course.. ahem) hehe...

Even within your rhyming (which, as you know, I love) there seems to be a new 'edge'... as though they are 'coming to you' from deeper places sometimes... but never lose track of those silly surfaces. You've cornered the market on those "wind-up-pitches" around this old Den. Play on........katy xox

Hi Ed:

You'll never knew how your words can reach many. You only think sometimes your work is negative, but in reality, they're not. Continue on the great work and share your wonderful words. No matter what form they take, they inspire others.

Love and hugs,

Sandie May Angel a.k.a. Sandie Angel :o)
