“Abalone ~ Delight”

Something for

“The Seafood Lover”

Edity

******************

Take a few lets say 3 hands filled “legal”

Perlemoen aka Abalone

If you can’t get that use Peri – Winkle

Oh Yeah it works just as well

Cook them for and hour…yip that long

Drain water clean well

Chop them into small dice size cubes

Chop one pound of mushrooms

Without the stem...paleeeze!!

Now mix

Seafood and Mushrooms together

Add 500 ml (one pint) fresh cream

Let it simmer for about 20 minutes

Now add one pack “White Onion” soup

But first mix well with a little milk

In the mean time chop ALOT of onion

About 4-5 big ones like your fist

One packed of “streaky bacon”

Also chopped in smaller pieces

Fry till crispy in a little oil

Now mix EVERYTHING together

Test the salt content…you may add a little salt

And if you a pepper freak like me Just Do it!!

Add a little pepper

Serve with rice, pasta or freshly baked bread

Ps: Chicken will work just as well if no other option available

Sounds Good Tinka! But I'll make it with chicken, I don't like fish at all. One question - what is streaky bacon?

Very good, very original - writing a recipe poem! That's a very interesting way of presenting it! I enjoyed this and can't wait to try your recipe.

Hope you had a very Happy Mother's Day Tinka

When I was a kid I used to eat peri winkles by the dozens. Just take a bent pin and dig in. My tastes have changed since then. Nice recipe also dig in.

Well if I were a very good cook/chef as you apparently are I would be eating high off the hog, so to speak, this night...instead I find TV dinners to my specialty and other easy stuff, like Mac n' Cheese & spaghetti...not tonight though, got to go do my laundry, unfortunately, but maybe a hot dog or two for me and Rufuz...EDity
