I had to write this one after getting home from New York City and realizing its just as bad at home, just on a smaller scale. |

Oh, my Lord, I see a sinful world outside my door, people running blindly through the streets. And as I stare out my window at the stars shining in; I can see that it’s dark outside oh Lord, but it’s twice as dark within.
Solemly watching across my back fence I think of our nations path; Politicians & back door money will slew our freedoms wrath. So how can we with all our knowledge accept these so-called men? I can see that it’s dark outside oh Lord, but it’s twice as dark within.
Men of high ideals must band together now as men, and shed the light of wisdom across a corrupted land of sin. They must all get together now and wipe our country’s fevered brow. I can see that it’s dark outside oh Lord, but it’s twice as dark within.
