this was written after my first short, but very bad marriage.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Little girl, I hate to bring you down
I donít mean to laugh and act like a clown;
but you said you would love me forever more.
That we would be the happiest, living behind
the same front door.
I know we could never be happy by existing
in a married life;
Young woman, little girl, please listen to me,
I just ainít the one girl kind.

Now some men can be happy with the love
and the warmth of a home.
That ainít me, I canít be satisfied unless I
have room to roam.
When you throw your lovin on me, you
almost change my mind.
But woman, oh woman, please listen to me
I just ainít the one girl kind.

Oh woman, please, Iíve got to go, canít you
see Iím thinking of you.
Please donít make it harder for me to do what
I have to do.
Someday youíll have a happy home and then
youíll be glad you let me roam.
Young woman, little girl, thereís only one  heart
breaking, cause I just ainít the one girl kind.

You've got a lot of company! At least you were honest!
Well done!
