You know, you think you got it all,
except that one love that you hear about
but just can't find??

--------------------------------------------------------------

Yes Love, I'm searching for you.
What else is left, what can I do.
I've been searching half my life,
for a love that would be true ,
but the harder that I look for love,
the farther I get from you. . . . .

Far out into the misty dark,
I can see a distant light,
but that light, it ain't for me,
my light is twice that bright.
I'm sure you can catch me,
woman with the long dark hair.
Look behind my memories and
you might see you standing there. . . .

Oh, sweet Venus of Love, my only love,
Shine down upon me and ease my pain.
Asleep I can almost feel your body
snuggling near and wrapped around me.
Then to awaken and your not there,
except the memory and scent of you.
please descend from the stars above,
you beckon me deep in my dreams.
I am crying out, I know your there,
lost woman with the long dark hair.

What else can I say, how much can I beg,
I can only keep searching for you . . . . .
