I've always wanted to write a poem just for lovers.

Green velvet moss for our bed, the blue sky for a roof.
The forrest for our castle, the sun peeking through high branches.
The smell of a wood fire, a distant sound of someone
chopping wood.
Clean country fresh air and the pine trees for our friends.
The wispy white clouds watching over us, birds filling the
air with song of wind.
The muffled silence of the still forrest and the freedom of
youth as our strength.
With these . . . .I will make love to you.

Thoughts of your loveliness in my mind, the radiance of your
smile to give me courage.
The touch of your hand to give me faith and the cares of
tomorrow left far behind.
The brightness of the future to give me hope and the words
from your lips to make me believe.
With these . . . . .I will make love to you.

Far in the forest, away from the world, the fullness of solitude
swells our hearts and this eternal time to be our joy.
Gently the wind kisses us, the branches bow down in our
presences. The earth becomes a carpet for us to lay.
With these . . . . .I will make love to you.

The trees are sentries to guard our privacy and the sounds of the animals will warn us of danger.
The warm summer air surrounds us in a blanket provided by God.
Time is immortal in this wooded bed chamber, and the love we share is immortal too.
The sun and the sky smile beams of endless joy on two of  Godís children holding fast in their embrace.
Riches of heaven and earth are our treasures while the life of the forest is our retreat.
The crown of love rides high on our heads to proclaim our royalty.
And with these . . . . . I will make love to you.
