The End!

Light in one end,
Dark in the other,
In the end just ash,
Me!

A glow in one end,
A weak character in the other,
In the end just ash,
A Cigarette!

This was an excellent write..

And though we be ash, we shall resurrect and become the light once more.

I see this as more than what it actually meant. Life is just like that. When you are looking at the present, it seems that all is lost. But a closer look will bring a hope so sure, and so deep. I agree with you that every end has an opposite of it. It makes sense.
Good write!

I actually read the metaphors into more than a cigarette in this one. Very cleverly done!

A cigarette glows and becomes ash activating the persin using! But there exists no personal pleasure or achivement! unlike a cigarette you a light the lives around you and enjoy with what you do to others gaining se;f satisfaction and happiness. The begining is vital and not the end when every living thing perish! you are a precious jewel dear Hottran!
