(not suicidal... just a reflection.
Death has it's own smell.
if you've never smelled it, you can never know it.
if you have, you can never forget it.
Death smells nauseatingly sweet.
cheap perfume is a fragrance you would prefer.
and it lingers in the air, there. for hour after hour... it has it's power...sour. for days, weeks, months... perhaps
forever... i can't say.
i just know Death's Breath & it stinks) |

Death & me
we've come ta' Be
what We See
thru Death & Me's
somewhat stormy weather
together
whether
or Not
Death
thanks a lot
for not
killin' me yet
but Death
i bet
there's a Time
for me
to run outta' Rhyme
but, hell, Death
You can take your Time
be sublime
or be Bold
let me grow Old
wait for my story to be Told
wait until i'm Sold
into Life's old Mold
Death & me
We both See
there's a Time ta' be
and a Time ya' Don't
ya' Won't
Death & me
we know
Death will only show
what can't grow
no MO'
relationships
hardships
husbands & wives
old lives
all dies
no matter how
ya' tries
somehow
all dies
all are lies
ta' all things
there is a "Good-bye"
that's what Death brings
Death & me
We can See
look "eye ta' eye"
at "Goodbye"
hell, Death & I
we have learned
not ta' ask "why?"
Death & Me
We have Earned
ta' be Friends
'till Death is my Ends
but, 1 Thing
i gotta' say
1 Thing
i gotta' Tell ya'
Death
your Breath
is far too sweet
for me ta' meet
it ain't neat
i can look in Your Eye
and i don't ask "why?"
but Death
Your Breath
seems incomplete
like a fragrance
too Sweet
like a Day
i pray
i don't wanna' meet
so, Death, i ask you why?
not that i cry...
just "why?"
is Your Breath, Death,
so Sweet?
Death & me
i guess We be
together
forever
and ever
but why?
do Death & I
have ta' meet?
and why, Death
is your Breath,
so Sweet?

I don't think Death has a sweet smell or a stinky breath.
As that moment comes there is only horrible pain and struggle to keep your own breath.
Good poem, though
