When the eyes of self
start peering
from the scenery
of beauty,
there is a need
to reconform,
especially when
the mind is bleary.

When the aches of self
start paining
in the greenery
of beauty,
there is a need
to reconfirm,
especially when
the soul is weary.

When the nays of self
start paring
from the plenary
of beauty,
there is a need
to recommit,
especially when
the mind is theory.

Examing the self in the light of beauty is so positive. Reconfirm, reconform and recommit - choices of action that enhance the self and validate.
I enjoyed the rhyme scheme - it worked well and was not contrived.
This is my type of poetry. Essentially abstract but tied in firmly to the real world. Well done. Joyce James

And my mind is definitely theory, at least it was last time I used it...and to go one step further, I agree with Aberjhani's review...Ed
