sticks and stones can break my bones but words will sorely hurt me..

I never doubted
that the need
to equate
lied amongst my friendships..

I never guessed
that the hunger
to communicate
lied between my relationships..

I never reasoned
that the hate
to discriminate
lied between my fingertips..

I never thought
that the thirst
to infuriate
lied between my hips..

I never imagined
that the desire
to DEVASTATE
lied between my lips..

I myself have to be careful of what
I could say to some butt heads.
Powerful work....

"Words" sad it in full, and delivered a wise message.

Keep wording, Poet!

words are powerful and should be used cautiously, for we must deal with the ramifications of their intent ...

thought-probing poem ...
