Without Love

If the roll-books are kept hidden in a file of atom-size;
cloaked in ambiguity awaiting us to bid our adieus.
Do we approach Heaven’s treasures with teary eyes,
struggling to authenticate life’s mysterious clues?

Our beings are traced by the full moon’s golden light;
silhouettes now captured ‘n amplified by its domain.
Allowing us to distinguish this earth ‘n rule the night,
trying to educate new ecstasies in sophomoric pain.

Will we finally feel what must be felt in order to fit;
amongst incandescent stars spinning high above?
Do we venture to look deep inside ‘n finally admit;
for it’s said, “we’ll never rise beyond without love!”

Please take a moment and use the direct link provided below and read my article about a poem that I wrote in 1974, titled: “Let Your Love Begin” that has been made into a song titled: “Let Love Begin.” Or just mouse over to the link on the left side of the page and sit back, relax while you listen to the derivative, which was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee and brought to life by talents and the wonderful singing voice of Mr. Scott Word. Many thanks for your continued support.

YEEESSS!!! Thank you for returning!! xx!! And what a come-back and what a welcome! YOU HAVE BEEN MISSED! Can't you hear the audible "Aaahh!" rising from among us? Your last line conquers, but the whole poem is a testimony to what we have been denied during your absence, Thomas: a soul-searching depth and honesty that truly fathoms and plumbs without thought for the consequences - only a heart's desire for the truth. And you have certainly found it here, as acknowledged by all of us here. Love is definitely the agent of change and redemption. TY and bless you... don't go running off again, will you?! LOL Kate xx
