“Hearts Whispers”

I often ask myself
Why bother?

 What for?
And a cry deep inside and answers
Because

 I love you
And I ask myself
Why do I fight this battle?
That cries deep inside of me
And when I stare blankly into space
And I just listen to my heartbeat
That whispers… because I love you
That’s when I tuck you safely… away
Deep into the secret corner of my mind
And I hear you there like ocean waves
Whispers of love and care
I never gave a damn before
But now I fight this battle
That cries deep inside of me
And I ask myself
Why bother?

What for?
And my heart whispers right back at me
It’s because I love you
I am feeling you
But I don’t touch you
And I have nothing more to say
Why Bother?
What for?
And the tear upon my cheek
Tells a different story
It’s a tear of
Pure love
