While 'Gravity' has elements that are literally true , it is meant as an allegory. May not be possible to walk in others' moccasins, but to me, it is what writing is all about.
Hope you find something to like about this, downer though it be.
Thanks for all the wonderful support
Your friend, Pea <3

i have been falling
  all my life
no bone breaks   just cracks
x-rays canít see    own eyes
donít look forward
             why look back
canít get up like the ad
                        hollow laugh

runs in the family   sober
my mother fell
                      inside  out
              others  well
down doesnít always let go
itís my ankles she sighed
weak will get you every time
              take it from her
heels high  teetering   wings
she strapped on   not having learned
             sol flambeauíd icarus
             spiraled down  nooooo
but she never went near the sun
             still burned  still down
own heels low   wings i borrow
                          never work out

my father fell from pretending
he was atlas   charles   wasnít the world
felled, but binding muscle
               thumb over steam
friend after friend falls   falling fell
collected bones we stumble on
yet falling gets no support   no
collecting to help pay
                 though stone angels wing
                 over more chiseled names
last fallís month  day  year

vertigo  out   doc says
her glasses fall on her nose
                  mouth falls   tone
no sign of this  no sign of that
should i install bars   i ask
most of my falling is inside
should i pad with pillows or kick
                   try to rejoice
she grabs as her stethoscope falls
remember most falls are inside
