Her arms now abide green,
warmth and shelter for the home
she has always offered.
Stately, tall and strong she
stands through times winds
and the storms of nature’s
seasons change.
Hallelujah, she rises forth
and dons her gown of green,
lush tenderness in which
she buries her qualities of
caring and motherly concern
for the creatures who flock
into her solace to nest.
Among the best, her long
and slender elegance rises
dazzling in the eyes of light
spirit who look upon the grandeur which she displays...
Now she shines vibrant, and
she hopes for the cycle of
life and rebirth to last and be
given unto her for yet another
one hundred years...calm her fears
and let her live among the
radiance of her days - among
the peace that she has
discovered in the warm
sweet summer rays.
