*grins* Feeling a bit cheeky today LOL
I wrote it as I got it--enjoy!
|
he only loves me for my words . not because i am beautiful (which i am) ... he's infatuated with my meter and the way i make love to his ears and that is why he sticks around .
my burgeoning bosoms have no appeal and neither do my hips attract him - i can drive him to orgasmic climax with one word from my pen - he shudders , then rolls over and goes to sleep .
he absolutely drives me nuts with constant pleas to write poems " just for him , " to prove my faithfulness to him - that boy is making me tired ... DAMN tired ... and one day , i'm gonna lose it .
it's no wonder Poets get drunk and write mad stories of what REAL love should be - i mean , come on ... with love like this , who in the hell needs enemies ?? do other Poets have to endure this crap ?
(c) 2005 , Karla Dorman .

Holy Moly, Karla! This is drop-dead brilliant! Hilarious? No question. Never-been-done? A given, indeed. I hung on every line, every verse... I swear, I can read 'til my eyeballs fall out and my head spins, but this? This is something my eyes and my brain thank me for. This is nothing short of a poetic feast!
It's hands-down my favorite of yours so far and that's saying something! I'm keeping it... so I can turn to it when I have moments of thinking "it's all been done already..." You have inspired me, my dear. katy xox |
