Out there, on the dance room floor,
A lonely man who dreamed for more.
With no one to call his own,
His time was spent alone at home.
But then he saw her standing there,
Was she the answer to his prayers?
She looked at him and then he knew,
For her eyes said Iím lonely too.
He went to her and took a chance,
He asked if she would like to dance.
She shyly answered that she would,
But warned she wasnít all that good.
Then as the song began to play,
The two of them began to sway.
To the music hand in hand,
Embraced, this woman and this man.
It wasnt long before they knew,
They were each otherís dream come true .
And they went on the wings of dreams,
To a place where dreams are what they seem.
A brand new love was born that day,
A love so strong and there to stay.
A match forever so it seems,
Because two people dared to dream.

|Fantastic write, Jack. There have been many lonely people who finally found true love is some of the oddest of places: football games, dance halls, the movies, etc. I am a firm believer that if love is meant to be, it will instill itself in due time when it is ready and often, when we least expect it. Take care, my rhyming friend,
