No more WHINE from the peanut gallery

Ah pain, we hate it, but write of it...

No more WHINE from the peanut gallery…

I have so much in life whined,

Some have thought that this did me define,

I have tried not to others malign,

Though of my life of whine I feel I should resign…

Yes my body does ache,

Though never when I eat steak,

Sick I do get when junk food and drink I do imbibe,

Far be it from me to complain as I do not herein ascribe…

The wet weather does make my old body in pain languish,

Allergy season does as well bring on a certain anguish,

The cold does put me into painful throes,

Even the warmth does on my sense of humor foreclose…

What do I say here is the question you ask,

Maybe that in pain of some kind we all do bask,

Or am I taking my personal pain to task,

Better though I have found to carry my medicine in a flask…J
