Butterfly's

Souls like butterfly's
flying in the breeze
love is flowing

Can Love be Wrong?

Always moving
changing itís way
fluttering in the sunlight

Love is constantly changing
leaving broken hearts
healing the lonely

someone rising
someone falling

Itís constant motion
like planets around a sun
seeking the light

The moon smiles upon us
those lost in love
healing is the power
hurting is undone

Loveís worn by some
discarded by others
yet we all come together

So fly little butterfly
fly into my arms
I heard your heart beating
I feel your soul quiver
let me hold you

I wish to feel love
if even just a little while
I wish to give you freedom

The breeze gently carries us
knowing there is change
tomorrow is another day

All we have is this moment
and we hold onto to every second
our love flows, always moving
changing us to believe
it canít be wrong

Healing the lonely
leaving broken hearts
behind us

someone rising
someone falling

This constant motion
we canít hold long
for we cry and rejoice
all in the name of love
Can that be wrong?

So fly little butterfly's
and be free

Oh Dale this is so gorgeous so peaceful happy and calming. even with the someone falling which is so true. Love's worn by some, disgarded by others, yet we all come together. I love that.
This brings tears from the freedom of it all, yet the knowing of love is there to hold. This one really set me free with comfort.xo

so soft, delicate and elegant. I like the repeated lines and rhyme scheme. Just a note: You want a plural not a possessive. It's butterflies.

Dale,

This one tugs at the heart strings. Love the second
to last stanza...I have often asked that question,
as I am sure we all have. Many will relate to this poem.

I love the motion in this one Dale, for love is ever
changing, never still, with all of the senses always
being stirred in different directions. You captured it so well!

What a wonderful analogy, for butterflies live only a short while before they die. But have you seen them while they live? They dance in the air when they mate--an expression of pure joy. Butterflies live the ultimate freedom while they exist. This is a beauty, Dale...
