is to write another
then another,
then many more,
until you can't keep score.
To write a poem,
is to get into it,
and forever do it.

It means to write awhile,
to develope a style.
It can end up a walk in the park,
or a shot into the dark,
that may forever need a spark.
From a poetic discovery,
there may never be a recovery.

Once bitten,
it may mean smitten.
Poeming can entice,
or freeze like ice.
It can hang one on a hook,
have them writing a whole book.
