I’m Too Crazy

too crazy for my mind
too crazy for my life
too crazy for my dreams.

just trying to get ahead
just trying to get a hold
just trying to get past time.

like a squirrel you find that’s dead
like a parrot’s mawkish grin
like a cloth that’s lost its thread.

want to feel some kind of hope
want to sense that I’m okay
want to laugh with happiness.

too crazy for my life
too crazy for my mind
too crazy for my screams…

The Craven

Sometimes life is ever gripping,
Souls of doubt contrive their ripping
into Raven’s beak a’ dripping,
Quotes the Craven, ‘Evermore’.

Somehow I see minds a’ tripping
And I wonder what was given,
Even as I smile, forgiving,
Taps the Raven, ‘Nevermore’.

Diabolical Thinking

Searching, tweaking…
Fingering mental applause,
she dives
into oblivion’s eternity.

Consciousness, or soul,
when flesh dies, is fragmented,
if unloved.

Gossip, waspish and
internationally renowned,
doesn’t create, it destroys

Unlawful, awful, look at me,
a tree, flighted, sighted,
yet, selfishly destroying

I am quelling my imagination,
for now, it is too intense,
pain reflects from thoughts.

Tears can be used as more
than just fears release,
they can be a form of arrears.

At times, she feels flexed, stretched
across the cosmos, communing with
well-being, and secret happiness,
unknown to her shallow, sun-bound,
planetary being…

I don’t understand
other people’s perception that
not doing anything
is not doing something.

I am doing something,
I’m thinking…

As my last trick,
Pulls its own plug.

Time will cease.

Denatured by the beast…

A special thank you to Brian Pellerino, for inspiring the title and the idea to ‘clean out the muse’s house’, in this case, my last-several-months composition book, where thoughts and bits of poems are jotted.

A very unique house cleaning. My muse is such a mess
too. But I'm not sure I can part with the junk. ;)

Don't we find some unusual stuff when comes spring cleaning of the "Muse's House" and it is an excellent idea for the title and now that you are cleaned out, you can start stockpiling new stuff...Ed
