Again and Again

Iím ecstasy like an opened fist
Hope like a babyís kiss
Bliss identified with one touch
Iím there when children cry
Not afraid to let go -
I paint portraits with my dreams
My mystery is foretold in legends
My deeds are our strength
My convictions, your prize
When I look into your unforgettable eyes
Iíll capture your mortal soul
Pulled out of the battle that is myself
Not afraid to hold on
Wearing black Ö
Wearing white Ö
Wearing gray Ö
Wearing reality as my soul Ö
Abandoning uncertainty about who I am Ö
No fortress, no village, no exits
No dye that I can see
Iím nearby when the picture dries.

Available to chitchat
Ready to listen
Orchestrated in a kiss
Revealed by my confidence
Undeterred by my doubts
Iím there during hard times
Your existence, my purpose
Your body, my fortress
If there for you
Is my invincible soul
Iíll leap myself
To make you feel joy
Pulled into the struggle that is myself
Iíll fight against the savagy current
Just to lift you up, up, up beyond reality
And set you near sunshine

Not afraid to die,
I walk dangerous paths alone
Just to safeguard love
Exhilarating, extraordinary, excellent
My goal, my test, my bold, bold quest
I polish gritty stones one by one
And let them fall where they may
No excuses, no fears, no regrets
Against all odds
I defend my bridge Ö
Just like God commanded Ö
Some people call me hallelujah
Some people call me heathen
Most folks just call me -- A man!
