The world may turn but love never dies.

Song Lyrics

I sit here gazing into space

Trying hard to see your face

A different time and different place.

Now youre gone without a trace.

Remember when wed sit in class?

The silly notes we used to pass.

How we swore our love would last.

The years rolled by, they went so fast.

I remember well that fateful day.

That we left school, you moved away.

We promised that our love would stay,

Forever faithful in every way.

I dreamt that youd return to me.

Every day your face Id see.

I thought our love was meant to be,

The years went by, an eternity.

I searched for you, I really tried.

I heard that youd become a Bride.

Then on T/V I saw youd died.

In disbelief I sat and cried.

I sit here gazing into space

Trying hard to see your face

A different time and different place

Now youre gone without a trace.

Awesome write, Robin. To lose a true love is a pain like no other.
But to have loved at all is a wonderful thing. Great word flow!

Love is all, Robin. You've just found another way of saying it. Thank you. Love and peace. Regis
