Thunder roared
and with whispering words clawed
deep into the night
in silent fury and flight

 My heart beat
and in dead of night did fleet
as fearful sorrow has its dawn
I pray I don't become a pawn

Scream.. howl..bleed..thunder
my mind and soul are not asunder
though I sleep and wake within your breast
I know my path I know my quest

Leave your darkness far behind
for I'll not let you enter my mind

Well said. Keep the front door of the mind shut. To all negitivity, just letting in faith inspiring enter.. Just kick 'em way into touch...

Shelter in the eye of the storm... this is beautifully expressed, Vesna and a unique concept and dialogue, I think. Makes me appreciate the love/hate relationship we can have with the elements and how we are both able to withstand them or yield to them in equal measure... that is, if they are not consuming us first! And they are soooo influential in our mood swings, aren't they? Can testify to the wearing effects of living in an environment of perpetual "thunder on the mountain"! The brooding of it can almost quench even the most sunshiney of natures sometimes... Keep smiling :)) Very neat beat to this one and wisdom contained within it. TY Kate xx

Great write! We are always struggling to banish negative thoughts that try to enter our minds and pull us into a vortex of fear and despair...(Thunder seems to be on both our minds, Vesna)
