Snacking in Bed

Snacking in Bed…

Rufuz does eat his cookies in my bed,

I eat my snacks on the couch, it being his bed,

Who ever did start it this way did him be fed,

Rufuz is happy with this arrangement or so he said…

Crumbs I find when sleeping,

Sometimes a tick or two for me comes creeping,

Little does Rufuz know if I get Lyme disease I will be weeping,

Instead of me to be working, he will be of us both, keeping…

He does allow me to sleep through the night,

I guess he does feel that this is only right,

But as soon as I am gone to work in the light,

Back up on my bed to sleep the day away he does without a fight…

He is still my best bud,

No one can change that,

Without from me with a hammer I will on their head thud,

We exchange with each other all that we can,

He even uses when laying on my bed an oscillating fan…

What a pretty doggy!
And thank goodness for a fan...in all this heat spell we've
been having.

Snacking on each other's beds, marvelous - and do you eat his leftover crumbs, too?!

PS Look under your bed, too; I often find some really good crumbs under there that my two mutts couldn't get at.
