Enjoy.
|
I have trouble making the words stand still - I get them all dressed and looking perfect and just when the camera flashes, one bursts out crying (that one has always been a little shy).
I have trouble making the words stand still - just when I think I have everything in place, I find they aren't - they've disappeared (getting out of order is one of their most favorite games).
I have trouble making the words stand still - they are wound up and are bouncing off of the walls in a hyperkenetic zoom of cheetah speed (I can't keep up - no more sugar for them).
I have trouble making the words stand still - they gotta fight and argue over who's first and who is next - "HE WAS FIRST THE LAST TIME!!!!" so on and so forth until I'm ready to scream...CALGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have trouble making the words stand still - they've been stuck in the pen all day and now's the time to play. Awwww...what the heck, I think I will join them (I've been working too hard any damn way).

Well if they end up jumping into place as well as they did in this poem I think you have nothing to fear, they know where they should be. Good write Karla.
