Just a few that came to me while driving, though they may or may not be of humor they are still of me...

Raindrops strike the ground,

Out of a darkened sky are they found,

On the trip of which they are bound,

Drinking water it does for now abound,

I also do love on the roof its sound…

He acts as if he is the last on earth,

Feigning he has a great deal of mirth,

He does not drink or smoke,

Nor does he anymore do drugs,

Rarely does he give or get hugs,

Out of all civilization is left only this slug…

Sprinkle, sprinkle lil’ raindrop,

Sprinkle, sprinkle watch where you drop,

Sprinkle, sprinkle landing in a flop,

Sprinkle, sprinkle watch the head of that cop…

More often I should sleep not,

The muse does work overtime when I am shot,

More & more rhyme does from within climb,

It may not be worth much, but to me it is still prime…
