Everyone dreams of a 'soul-mate' but, what if you found yours and they were 'unobtainable?'
********************

He

He knows what I need--
calm, comfort, loving,
together, sharing.
Quietly, from afar,
in my dreams you are
he who bends my reed;
he who completes me.

Love stirred well but need
was of't done dirty ...
'has been' at thirty.
Replaced by a child--
innocence defiled--
to my grave others lead
but ... he comforts me.

He knows what I need
though he is not mine.
I walk a fine line.
For him others care.
Don't tell me don't share--
my soul would crack, bleed--
for he completes me.

There's one I want, need
(if he will have me)
for eternity.
In mind not in arms
I fell to his charms.
Am I who he needs?
Will he comfort me?

He knows what I need--
calm, comfort, loving,
together, sharing.
Quietly, from afar,
in my dreams you are
he who bends my reed;
he who completes me.

I will simply echo Sandie (Mushi)'s comments except that my close friends are SHE. Thanks for sharing. Love and peace. Regis

I can totally relate, Sandra. All my close male friends are HE. I suppose thats why I chose them - they know what I need and bend my reed. But I'm not sure if I'd want them for eternity as mine though. Lol. Their friendship is just too valuable. Great one, Sandra! Beautiful!!

God bless,

Sandie.
