This may be another strange poem of mine ....I hope it makes sense. |
|
|
Torn away from the tight embrace
of Morpheus and his secret sleeping place;
I came to wake upon the twilight’s grey,
night was ending , and day was so slowly on it’s way!
There I sat at three smoking nicotine and gulping
down pure caffeine , making sense of things
that aren’t ever what they seem;
has this moved me to such extreme?
after all it was just another dream!
I tried and tried and heaven only knows why,
I finally went back to bed and closed my eyes;
Morpheus embraced me again very tight, my last
thoughts were Morpheus goodnight’‘.
I slipped off right again and this time I saw
an old friend of mine,
We’d been talking and laughing and passing time,
the way people do in the real state of mind!
I woke up the next day and I felt I’d slept just great!
I moved quickly because I was about to be late ,
I stopped for a bite to go on my way , when I saw
one of two sisters this one named faye....I said hey
what is up with you ....long time no see...you look
the same,
She shook her head and said I just wish I felt that way!
I said why’‘? She put her head and gently cried ....
My sister sandie died!
I hugged her tight and said very little and she walked off
then stopped in the middle,
Rick , you know Sandie cared for you so;
I said yes Faye ....in a very strange way, I know!
The end
