this is true and half not, but it is very much a true influence.

You recall I’m sure the winter

we came to meet ,

the cold and ice and distance

couldn’t apart us keep;

We were two of a kind and shared

the oneness of being

so alike without being forced,

our encounter was driven by the purest

force!

I know It was hard for you to

be taken far me ,

I know because I couldn’t stand to look

and your face never again see;

for years the messages brought to you

and to me,

kept me in some aching way living happily;

I didn’t lose hope that we’d unite,

until I received your letter.

Yo

You recall I’m sure the winter

we came to meet ,

the cold and ice and distance

they figured far away

would we stay

and there keep;

We were two of a kind and shared

we were so alike from both

came a oneness source;

we knew as I did when I first layed on eyes on you,

we were made from two to create the one flesh

part of me and part of you;

one but two!

I will always love you!

You remember the day they let us know,

you were heading south into the sun,

I was being sent to the cold and snow in September

there had already started to grow;

love is great when you have your mate,

but what sorrow lies

in the land of cold snow and dark tomorrow without

here to hold!,

for years the messages brought to you

and to me,

kept me in some aching way yet living happily;

thank god for those note,

they kept me holding on to any hope,

even after years came and went

and people died and babies born again;

I received your letter and shouted cheers!

Inside; I kept repeating soon enough she’ll be with me here!

And that’s the way it unfolded,

a couple nights with you was gold,

it was the longest time and my faith I had to hold!

Waiting to see you arriving I’d then let it go.

We were manipulated in ways of old we couldn’t

win,

weakened by the separation they calculated every

situation;

it wasn’t too long before you gave in

maybe it’s better you must’ve been thinkin;

but if we had really given in , we wouldn’t have had

the all time we did;

we belonged married and they stopped it;

with no right, we had to fight;

In the end we shared our lives at all cost,

better together than forever lost;

we never did lose ......and the choices that

pained us weren’t us to choose;

long ago I promised to you and you to me,

we’d find a way to live as if we’d been married;

two so much united in mind,spirit and heart are never meant to part!

I’ve no regrets do you?

Only one ,today I’ve not said yet- I love you

and I really do!

The End

I know this type of relationship. And I can tell you that a marriage, one that is actually about love, exists in the heart and not on a piece of paper. We may not get to be with the one we love, but we will always love them. ~ Sara
