Caught up in Her Game

©2005 Tyrone Vincent Banks

Suffering holds no gender

Jealousy knows no boundaries

Trickery will get you no where – but to the top of so many Shit lists…

A teenager in search of true love, found her

Her cat-like eyes and playful nature quickly caught him up in the game…

The game of deceit

The game of despair

She was the maker of the three-legged dog

The dogs that walk on two legs in search of a place to place his third

Upon placing that leg in an empty deed, he trotted off to the next victim

Her eyes promised him forever

Her games promised passion

Her heart promised heartache as it was promised to no one

Three blind warriors vied for her affections

It was however wrong for them to want to possess her and keep her as their own, but they fought nonetheless…

She was the prize

For those three stupid guys

Those cat-like eyes

Behind the maiden’s guise

The glimmer of laughter in those cat- like eyes

But shit, I was wise

As I bid her goodbye

As the two remaining chose to vie

I escaped from those eyes

I saw the true beast

The phone calls ceased

Her voice I did not miss in the least

Why did I think that I needed her?

Why did I shed those tears?

Why did I waste my time?

Why did I lose control and then lose my mind?

For that silly ass witch

I won’t call her a b—ch

Because I too was the blame

For getting caught up in her game!

One is never to blame when in love. One is to blame when playing with love. Good one, Tyrone!

God bless,

Aw, go ahead and call her that "B" word, she probably deserves it. LOL Yes. Yes. YES! Young and foolish and ohm, so jealous. Brings back painful memories
