Flags
Stand high
Proud
A tribute to America
The Free
But remember
The free
Does not mean
It did not come
Without a cost
While we celebrate
Fireworks Lighting up the night sky
Barebecues
Swim parties.
Let's take a moment
To reflect
On what we are celebrating
And Let's say a prayer
For those who are fighting
For the very flag
We proudly wave.

Michelle,
The price of freedom exacts a terrible toll...but as long as there are men and women willing to fight for that flag, we must pay them honor. Thank you for a most powerful tribute to our nation--this grateful veteran salutes you!
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
Happy (safe!) fourth of July to you and yours! |
