An Angel Speaks

yesterday's deeds becoming tommorow's needs....

A small child speaks of unspoken deeds
His wings caressing emotion’s needs
A caring soul on a heartless earth
Searching for one of genuine worth.

Feeling your loneliness and your silent cry
Imaginations that were meant to fly
But they bent your spirit with their thoughtless sin
Tell me your secrets and show me where you've been

Innocent reflections scatter the floor
Sad eyes pleading not to be ignored
I close my eyes and your heart I can see
Your washed away dreams lie silently within me

Your whisper sweet child fills my inner space
Yesterday’s sorrows have arrived at a safe place
Hurt will turn an innocent soul old
My arms are empty without you to hold

Dreams don't come to a silent demise
They echo forever within my blue eyes
My heart shows the splinters of all of their deeds
My soul whispers to you of tomorrow’s needs

Wisdom, art, knowledge and grace abound through the lines of this
magnigicent poem, "An Angel Speaks".

Never rest Your Pen, Poet!

P.S.: Please check lines eight and twelve. They sound like they
could be revised for better harmony of their rhythm.

Thank You
