keep me in your thoughts and prayers--

How am I supposed to tell you who I am
when I don't even know myself?
I have been living a lie for so long, that
I have forgotten the truth
of who I am now and what my beliefs are ...

(at one time, i knew what i was, who i was
but that was ages ago -
before i listened to the other people
telling me who i should be,
instead of discovering that on my own)

(i wanted to be everybody's friend;
changed my opinion to theirs;
doing all that i could to avoid a war ...
and i failed, miserably.
in seeking peace, i murdered the peacemaker)

And now, I am on a lost highway
in the middle of nowhere;
all of the roads look identical to me -
they all lead to the same path,
darkness and confusion and a loss of self.

Karla to thine own self be true. Only you can know who you are, and if you lose yourself,who better than the one that created you to turn to! Your spirit communing with His. No one else can do it for you, it's something you must do yourself, with Him. NOW! Love, Eileen
