Longings of yesterday,
Continue to puzzle the mind,
With wanderings of "What if's?"
That may have taken place,
For better or for worse,
That is unknown,
But 'tis a subtle thought,
Playing the mind,
In twists and turns,
As escapades enliven,
Once in a while,
To bring live clips,
To fill the days,
To fill the dreams,
Of longings for yesterdays.

Life is filled with
joy,
sorrows,
happiness,
sadness,
dreams,
hopes,
celebrations,
regrets...
Yesterday's dreams are today's longings
That's just the way life is.
Good write and thought-provoking.
