Chauffeur driven…

He loves to go for a ride,

He never just takes it in stride,

Each time he does ride with me,

It is like the first time to him,

The day we brought him home,

The day he was adopted he did feel such pride…

Now he has a new toy to ride in,

To dirty the windows with his big black nose,

To hang out the windows and bark at dogs,

To shed and allow his hair to intermingle with dads food,

To make his new toy smell less than that of a rose…

Right now his toy does smell quite new,

Soon though daddy will be saying phew,

Damn it all Rufuz you make my new car smell like you,

OH that’s right, I am sorry, it does not belong to me,

It is your new toy, I am just the driver, since your license you lost,

Daddy really does need to get a clue…

I remember as a child putting my face out the window to see why the dogs like to do it so much. I understand :-) Keep on tripping! :-)

You sure do, pal, and you're very lucky that you got Rufuz that new toy to ride around in just in the nick of time - he was already packing for Kentucky to go live with Uncle Scott.

Now Just Behave Yourself - and Drive (and make frequent pit stops for him, and don't forget a Tastee Freeze Ice Cream for him on those hot muggy Jersey summer days.)
