In Memory of Nonna Verbeck (Adelina (EThel Barbara Verbeck) It never fully goes Away That emptiness you feel After a loved one Is called home. You hurt a little bit Each time you think about it And the memories You hold on to those like a lifeline. They say time heals all wounds And sometimes I am left Wondering if that is true Because how could you fill the spot Of someone who is part of you Who helped define who you are.
