"Not the end my friend / You just won the race"

How the Best Get Better

So now you face alone

That schoolyard jealousy

Of the majority

At the first suggestion

Of nonconformity

With their only question

Who will cast the first stone?

The least talented will

Bluster forward to still

The voice of heresy

There is no argument

For stupidity

It is a compliment

Give the herd the word:

Go ahead stone me

Thank them for their scarlet letter

It is grace

By which now you break their fetter

In their face

This is how the best get better

Not the end my friend:

You just won the race

Stevie--This is kinda' weird- cuz, I started a poem last night..."Uniqueness" ( I'm stuck on wording and stopped)now, I wake lack of sleep at 3:12A. and I find this- hmmm... I'm finding a connection here- Something happening in the UniVerse! To EAch his Own! is my feelings~! What is -- 'Is'- it's so important for others to be themselves, that is what makes us all Unique. Gotta' give others a -ChanCE- you never know, till U do-- Now,I must finish my Poem-writing- (I'm starting to wonder what I write, they all seem to clearly a message) This is a GREAT Poem, and your headline is quite different and simple but, to the point~ By the way, Stones BELONG on the GROUND and not in mid-air... Allow the butterfly to emerge from it's STale and dank cocoon. Peace and Love Steve-WArmly,SheeeOX Have a GReAT DAy!

Very noble and true write Steve and yes as you suggested before I too am often critizized for speaking what is on my mind and in my heart. However as a writer, a poet and a sometimes sear I will accept my critics voice as well as my praisers and hope the one will ccounteract the other. In a way I think that is what you say so well here.

First stone or last, it's all the same. Why cast stones at all?
