You love me

A bushel and a peck

Thatís very nice but

What the heckís a peck?

Somewhere beyond the seaÖ

No kidding!

Whatís a fathom?

Itís beyond me.

The horses are racing

But not fur long

I plugged the meter

Which measures my song

And my height

And the road

Am I wrong?

Is an inch-worm an inch

Are they all the same size?

How can they tell

The girls from the guys?

Does a 10 gallon hat

Fit a 10 gallon head?

Imagine the coffin when

That guy is dead!

Kill-O-Meter

Sounds like an order.

When the coins fall out

Better head for the border.

Measure for measure

Inch by inch

A pound of flesh

To me is a pinch!  (ooo la la)

LOL this is a cute magical write and as a Canadian who grew up on the old measurements and was forced to accept Metric measurements this is doubly dear to my heart.
