our eyes meet
across the bar
we each see where we are
and we complete
the dance

you step close
"wanna' dosey-doe"
"wanna' take a chance?"
what a task
"guess so"

i can taste
your breath
i can sense
your scent
i can feel your heat
as our hearts meet
so complete in bein' incomplete

we dance
1 dance
or 2
that'll do
your place
or mine?
either is fine.

soon i find
me in your bed
with your head
'tween my legs
and mine 'tween yours
one thing for sures
neither of us goin' anywhere
once we be there

i could feel
the warmth of your skin
it was real
and i could begin
to heal

i feel your breast
i touch your ass
hopin' time won't pass
and i'll pass the test

so much passion
it's outta' fashion
just laughin'
and cryin' out loud
bein' proud
sheddin' a shroud
losin' a dark cloud

seein' the light
feelin' so on fire
like a live wire
on a cold night
just waitin' for the end
waitin' for our old hearts to mend

in the morning
we'll be wondering
where is the fire?
then we'll rehashes
the night
after daylight

and we'll sweep out the ashes

Ahhh it is but a superficial healing, Steve. In the morn, your soul is still riding on the midnight train going nowhere, still so all alone. Very good pen!

Take care,
