A Beautiful World Worth Dying For

"Each day as we pray supposedly to / The same God who kills me and blesses you // I never understood that never could / And now ripe for the kill I never will"

A Beautiful World Worth Dying For

Our descending world falls from bad to worse
Minds made up decided divided for
Two in a dualistic universe
Thesis antithesis squared off for war
Jihad Armageddon decline and fall
They hate we hate we all will kill us all

The moon and the sun still soar in the sky
But war has begun now and more will die
Each day as we pray supposedly to
The same God who kills me and blesses you

I never understood that never could
And now ripe for the kill I never will
But I thank God whoever he may be
My loved ones lost will not be here to see
What is to come now that it comes for me
And bid you good night as we lose the light

May we waken in a place without war
Nor forget how our sun and moon soared bright
Daily for all everywhere on this ball
Of a beautiful world worth dying for

We've done a right good job of making this beautiful place uagly. No wonder God wants to intervine. We as a race of humanity can't keep a world alive let alone each other, Hell I couldn't even remember to water my plant once a week, I am surprised we have lasted this long!
It's up to the parent to intervine when the kids can't manage to make the right decisions or are not mature enough to take care of themselves.

Worth dieing for or not, NO ONE gets out of here alive. The world is a Chess Game and we are pawns, the sacrificial lambs in the wars for religious, political and financial power. Good write, Steven.
Take care,
Sherry
