Just as the waves continue to embrace the shores
And the solar wind passes across our planet

Just as continents reallocate to the volcanoes fiery dance
And the horizon shifts in assorted colors of transcendence

Just as dreams transform the reality of our deepest desires
And our thoughts change the commonality of our desired paths

Just as the winds of life are blowing
Within the synapses of the greater mind
Each life continuously blending into its essence

And the song of creation flows through our veins
Its melody inspired by our grandest convictions

Just as the throngs of war and destruction
Pepper our planet with ideological transparencies
So too the beauty of every magnificent motion
Pulsating from our fingertips
Allows us to finger-paint the ways of tomorrow

Decorating the potential of mankind
With the prospect of peace and prosperity

Here, in the wild space of every moment
I allow myself to know my self
Greeting the expression of who I am
Flowing from the impulse of everyone’s direction

Here, I come face to face
With everything that ever existed
And with all that is to be

Here, I celebrate the purpose of living
And remember who I am

More than just a reunion with perception
But a communion with life’s design

A wonderful write of universality and individualism, Jude! It was neat to put a voice to the face and pen, too. Peace. Joyce

Your poetry, and your concepts of existence expressed through it, always have the attribute of talented uniqueness, and the prerogative of surprising. When one thinks it can't possibly get any better... it does! The reunion with perception of who we truly and deeply are, is, indeed, the catalyst of perception, and then communion, with life's design. Brilliant.

This is a uniquely crafted, gem of a poem. Outstanding in
concept. The archtypal imagery depicts divinity, and the depth
of your wisdom and knowledge, in relationship to I Am . One of
your best! The last two lines are perfection...

...finger-paint the ways of tomorrow
...the wild space of every moment

this is why I, for one, read your poems so faithfully, Jude. you give me ideas, beautifully expressed, that captivate me and often stay with me. the repetition of "here," building to the remembrance of who you are and that grander communion is quite effective, as are the "just as" lines that invite us closer and closer to the truth you convey. keep those designing thoughts a'comin'! Friend, this one is deep enough for further study. Your words ring contemporary, and with a melody of truth. I must have time to take each line and verse as a separate compostion. Only then, will I know what the message is to me. Thanks you. - Bill

This is one of your best writes, Robert, as you have shown a very clear perspective that leaves no room for self-doubt. It is true that we are everything that has been and will be; we are each the new hope for humanity. Evolution is a slow process, but within each of us is planted a seed that can shape the growth of future generations. It is not until we believe in love that we can abolish hate. Knowing our self is the key to understanding the eminent knowledge that we each possess. Teaching by example is the only possible way to form our destiny as human beings. We change the world one person at a time.
Excellent, thoughtful poem!
Take care,

The last line sums it up perfectly. Introspection begets reflection in which we see ouselves outside the mirror on the wall.

Yes we have to know who we are before we can expect anyone else to. Most of the time, once we've become comfortable with ourselves, it's only then we can freely offer who we are, to someone else.
It's like a gift that we give and recieve at the same time.
Another truly inspiring write.

Knockout, Jude... thank you, this takes me back again to how I was mulling over Faith's Conviction yesterday. This builds like a tidal wave with the "Just as"s, then sneakily creeps in with the hidden "So too" in the middle of the meaty sixth stanza. It feels like you have called up the solar winds from all four poles within yourself to bring us the explosive expansiveness of this Big Bang of poetic creativity - yet the counter-tensions are all in place to hold everything in delicate balance... yes, warble, warble... I could go on... think I must have picked the Sherbet Lemon to suck on here! The whole craft and shape of the thing is wonderful, let alone the content. And the final couplet to die for! Union and communion - mwah! Superbe! What a finger-artist you are, painting us all happy. So off I go, beaming... thanks for the semaphore from across the Atlantic! :)) Hope you are enjoying good vacation and glad that doesn't appear to mean a break from Poetry. Just adore these your Designer Thoughts. LOL Kate xx
