Here we are so far apart
I should be sleeping,
but thoughts of you keep
running through my heart.
I see you laying there
so sweet in sleeps slumber
hair tossed and body relaxed
and there is just something
I would love to ask
Can I curl up next to you?
wrap my arms across your chest?
Can I breath your essence,
and steal a few kisses?
Can I run my fingers,
across your skin?
And feel the tremors as they begin?
Can I look in your eyes,
and feel your smile?
Can I trust you forever,
here next to my side?
Can I whisper, I LOVE YOU BABE
and hear your, I LOVE YOU TOO?
Can I make love to you most of the night
and feel your arms wrap around me
keeping me safe each night?
Can I wake with you each morning
and look upon your face
and feel the love with in your embrace ?
As I see you laying there,
I know one thing for sure,
somehow......
you've snuck in
knocked down my defences,
and opened my heart.
You've gave me the desire
to seek a new start.
You will always be my soul mate
and you will always make me smile
and someday soon I pray
we will meet across these many miles!

Can You? If only you would! Ken is one lucky man, I envy him because of you. In anycase it is a very heart felt and wrote poem full of passion and desire. Well done
