Poets are a scandalous bunch, scalawags and liars all! They’ll spin you a tale, they’ll spin you a tale from whole cloth and lies and you’ll swear it was true even looking in their eyes. They'll steal your heart (and your purse if you let’em) They’ll break your heart, too then the scoundrels run laughing away with matter enough for another song, or two. Words are the game -- wild flying, fleeting words. They race across the sky, they race through your heart --- poets like sparks like meteors like comets flitting through flitting through. When you think you’ve forgot them back they come again to break your heart, and sing another song … Poets are scandalous bunch --- scalawags and scoundrels all.

There are poets and poetic writers... "Poets are a Scandalous Bunch" is an intriguing composition; it is rich in contents and depicts the visions of the author on the very singing romantic background.
