Away

A meditation on time

Away

Where 'tis thy sacred place?

In thine own rat race

Where I go

To be alone

Chanting Alto to Baritone

Up and down

All around

Thy scales

Giving voice to thy tales

Rocking to and fro

Ye ponder what thee do not know

On thy lover lip thee bite

See beyond this mundane sight

Read between these lines

And find

'Tis genuine

Energy that glows and flickers

Eliciting graphic pictures

Of a love that grows and tickles

Slipping from thee grasp it trickles

Ye attempt to control thy direction

Acting before thine own reaction

Then balance to maintain

Playing

Splashing

Breaking

In thee Rain

Sobbing on thy knees

Reflecting thy dreams

Some broken

Some unspoken

So ye dare to hope

For to cope

With thy monolith visions

Few

Are thine own conclusions

To store thy magick wares

Natural are thy barriers

For a safer time

To examine

Attempt to mime

If 'tis to be given

Though ye are consumed and driven

For ye have grown

In this

Thee twilight zone

Hear thy warrior in thee moan?

Release thy burning stone

Time thy spirit has flown

As the dark clouds are blown

Away

Maylynn,

I like this. Solitude with a touch of sentuality. The thees, thous, thines, etc. blow me AWAY.
