Just getting out the topic of depression and suicide. It has been on my mind lately but I will not do anything, do not worry. I am just expressing myself. Thanks for listening fellow poets!

I was feeling rotten;
it, depression, is not to be
It sneaks up on you,
sort of like the flu!
In the blackness of night,
depression holds on to you, tight!

Thoughts of hurting you,
come and go;
Some people accomplish
this dreadful thought;
for them I pray their spirit
is not lost!

I have tried this thought,
and luckily failed.

One comes to realize,
Life is not a fairytale!!!!

Great Pen epress your thoughts
I feel your pain
been there myself
sometime one gets out of it
as soon as one falls into it.

Very much to the Point Becca, well written expression, of the dangers of depression.
I too have had these thoughts, share your pain/sentiments, they are hard times, but we get through it.
