Don't rate me on what you think I'd like,
I'm not that "Popular person."
It doesn't matter what I think,
Well that's what I say to you,
Not to what I say to me.
Don't know how to judge on what I write,
So i'm asking you to make this decision,
What do you think you'd like.
Heavens no,
It's not some plan to please you,
I know nothing of your kind,
This life is all about me,
Strangers turned to friends,
They came willingly.
Don't get me wrong,
I'm not all in love with me,
I just think it's weird,
When i think some of my 10's,
Maybe they should be 3's
Who am I to think,
My work written isn't cut out what I want it to be.
Just weird seeing tens,
Never in my life would I beleive.
Thanks alot for nothing,
Well what exactly have you done to me?
I'm just kidding,
To those who know what they like,
Comments made and left,
Somehow I think they raised my self-esteem.
God knows how much of that I need,
As for now, as do people get,
It gets tiresome, oh yeah and boring,
Trying to go on,
Making up rhymes on this screen. |

Justin, I read many things written under the Poem banner here at authorsden. If I don't see a reason to give a 'Ten' I leave no comment at all.
I'm not a poet by profession or through study. Don't have a clue about Haiku. Don't care about rhyme or reason for writing...no yardstick for me.
Often I see something that ought to draw that '3' you mention, but if the words or the sentiment appeal to me, if I see a certain passion or honesty, then I give that 'Ten'...why should you continue to write here? No reason at all. If the notion strikes you, just do it. Someone will read and pick up on something you may not even be aware of...and give you another Ten.
I suppose I ought to post this whole opinion peace at my own spot... :)))
Someone else will have a different opinion. don't you love that?
