I amble along
By a rippling stream
Just before twilight
Pondering my
Ephemeral dream
What seems like
A gossamer apparition
Walks beside me
I feel as if there were
A fog hovering near
Hoping it would clear
As hush of night appears

A mellifluous melody
Spun in my mind
As his face so kind
Showed luminous
Through the stars
That covered us
In my dream of how
Our love had grown
From a source unknown
Yet, we are forever
Joined as meant to be
Not always perfect harmony

Still blessed within
Our mutual satisfaction
Knowing from eons before
It will be perfected once more

Dear Eileen,
Would perfect harmony not be a blend of shadows and light, brewed in understanding and then imbibed unconditionally? This beautiful cup of a Luminous Love that you share with us, gives me the warm feeling that you do know the secret of that magical blend...
Many sips of Love&Light*

A delightful love poem to end my night and relish any dreams it produces. An artist fills his canvas with colors of paint, you fill yours with words that produces colorful words in ones imagination.

Beautiful poem, graphic and music, Eileen, they mesh together perfectly. Perfect love does always seem to be fleeting, doesn't it. We find it and we cherish it but as it and we evolve, there are bumpy spots in the road where the trueness of the love seems to get lost in the frustration of the moment. Our foucus must be on the distance and not upon the immediate as you have so beautifully stated in this amazing poem.

Take care,

Sherry

"Joined as meant to be / Not always perfect harmony" Great two lines. You do understand how to arrange the words, do you not, Eileen? Oh, you were among the few that "got" my poem, but then, you always do.
