Reclamation
Our green planet a paradise of beauty revolves around our sun
Mother Earth all providing She must be honored given adulation for she provides all
The creations of living She smiles upon them demanding devotion
Our Mother Earth is all forgiving to those who receive her
We, who plunder and destroy with our factories, our highways Our war machines, their chaos
We forget the gifts she gives
We face the wrath of her power and shall perish Mother Earth shall have her day
Reclamation

Yes... we are killing ourselves. And She aches for us, but can't give us back what we have thoughtlessly discarded when we misinterpreted the meaning of Her Gift of Providence, which was our sense of responsibility. Now, we have to find it ourselves again. Quickly, before it's too late.
An important reminder, dear Dale, through poetry that is always a privilege to read. Thank you.

A very thoughtful poem, I could feel the calmly approaching tidal wave ready to hit the shores.

When those who are appointed as caretakers do not fulfill their mission, they are inevitably ushered out of the garden.

We forget the gifts she gives
We truly do - and I also believe that She will one day soon - Have her Day - and Her Wrath will be unstoppable. |
