I took this photo as well, and named it
'Inspiring Moments'
When I read your comments, on my Thank You and So Long write, the inspiration and caring that I felt was overwhelmingly touching. Each of you honestly did humble me, and I cried, but they were tears of joy not sorrow.
Thank You so very much! |

You Took My Breath Away
You took my breath away; you humbled me; and I cried- Your words of sincerity spoke to my soul- My heart ached; in assiduous beats of goodbye
'Tis the season of goodness; And as cold as it seemed- There came a light; Shining through the darkest of times- While the shadows fell silent; An Angel found its way- to warm and comfort me; so I could share my rhyme
Mere words etched; Scratched into the crevices of life- They've become the truth to who I really am- Gift me a piece of lead- and I'll mark my world- Show me an opened door; And I'll not let it slam
I've been rebirthed to a voice in verse- An offering in which on my own I couldn't touch- You took my breath away; You humbled me; And I cried- For all the tears; I once again say, 'Thank You, Thank You All, so very, very much'

Well, you choked me up yet again, Lisa. As I have already said, I will truly miss you. Your words have been an inspiration to me and your strong writes about our soldiers have been straight from the heart and like a clear vision into their souls. You write about freedom, something that seems to slip away just a little bit more every day due to apathy and an underlying desire to crush it. Your words ring like a bell for liberty and right and your humble spirit never fails to recognize that without devine intervention, we would never make it through the difficult times. I wish you would stay, because when you go you leave a huge empty space here that cannot be filled. May your continuing journey reward you with health, love and happiness.
Take care,
Sherry |
