Some days, ya jus' gotta dance!

Features revised 1/14/2006 version, followed with original 12/14/05 version)

can you dig this . . .
can you feel the hammer
of my hard-knock'd peg legg’d groove?
is my dance too chic,
too unique be accept'd as normal
by your squar'd off mind
can you dig it, Oooh. . .
can you dunk it for
IF you dunk it,
you may become part of my
phallic movements,
plunging deep into my
ziggy marley'd angles
and slightly off-center’d
reasoning decrees
allegiance to the gender-neutral

to the color-blind, and
to the archetypically
grotesque, the all inclusive
who cannot think out-
side of their de-
railed boxcar willi’d
mode of over-
process’d deliberations

let go of all you
knew as safe & OH-K,

cocoon yourself to
that which your mama
told you was dangerous,
run with the scissors that
sharpen your under-
estimation. . .

jump on thinn'd out
crackling ice;
break the fissures open. . .
release a gorgeous creature that
wants to be taken as-is
to your daddy's black tie party
hey-baby-baby-baby!
may i pleeez inquire can you?
can you feel the slam-pulse of
my unsmooth dog legg’d groove,
do you think me as an
bo-diddly odd-little ditty
so i ask you one mo' time,
can you dig it
can you dunk it
can you slingit,
can you crunchit
(maybe skunkit)
can you flingit

can you munchit
even
pumpa-bumpa thumpit
can you peelit
can you dealit
can you itchit
can you scratchit
can you oozit

can you choozit

can you dig this
AWE in me?

(Orignal 12/14/05 version below)

can you? feel the pulse
of my smoothly crooked
dog legg’d groove?
do you think me too
much of an oddity to get
into your square mind
as you view this
round whole of self/can you
dig it, Oooh. . .

can you? . . .dig it for
IF you dig it,
you may become part of my
phallic rhythmic merger,
plunging deep into my
corporation that treats
all line angles and off-
center’d rhymes with the
recognition that decrees
allegiance 2B gender-
neutral, color-
blind, and archetypically
grotesque to people who
cannot think out-
side of their de-
railed boxcar willi’d
mode of over-
process’d deliberations

 . . . so why not just
let go of all you
know as OH-K,
cocoon yourself to
that which your mama
told you was dangerous,
go ahead and run
with the scissors that
sharpen your under-
estimation. . .
jump on thin ice;
watch the cracks break open

to release a gorgeous creature that
wants to be taken home
to your family dinner,
yeah baby!

may i inquire can you?
can you feel the pulse of
my smoothly crooked
dog legg’d groove,
do you think me
too much of an
od-Dity to get into your
square mind, can you dig it
can you dig the
AWE in me?
